Fruits

Do the fruits of scientific technology

reach all rungs of social ladder equeally.

No. Then does the purpose reach justice.

Is it the government machinery that ought to address the problem. ?

Yes, the government should see that the fruits reach all the rungs in a proportionate manner.

How long can the government await the people saying, " Yes, we are looking into the problem  ?

The question is that in the age of scientific technology and globalization, how long should it take for the governments to address the miserable condition of many across the globe.

In fact, in most countries struggling with poverty, it is not the factor of time that impedes the balanced growth.  It is the lack of will and whole-hearted involvement, that hinders the growth factor.

One of the worst problems left unaddressed, is starvation.
It would not be difficult to check the problem if the leading countries of the nation  made a concerted effort.  Once the wheels of the balanced economy got lubricated, not only would the starvation be put to an end but also the illegal activities would come down considerably.
